De Boveda Humidor Starter Kit is dé ideale startset wanneer je een nieuwe houten humidor in gebruik neemt. Deze complete kit bevat alles wat je nodig hebt om je humidor correct te seasonen én daarna maandenlang op de juiste luchtvochtigheid te houden.
Door het hout eerst goed te bevochtigen, voorkom je dat het vocht uit je sigaren trekt. Zo creëer je een betere afdichting, een stabiel klimaat en optimale bescherming van smaak, trek en verbranding.

• Zorgt voor een stabiele luchtvochtigheid

🪵 Stap 1 – Seasoning (voorbereiden van de humidor)
De B84 seasoning packs bevochtigen de cellulaire structuur van het hout, zodat je humidor geen vocht meer “opzuigt” uit je sigaren.
Zo gebruik je ze:
1. Verwijder de plastic verpakking van de B84 packs
2. Plaats alle packs in een lege humidor
3. Sluit de humidor en open deze 14 dagen niet
4. Na 14 dagen: verwijder de packs en gooi ze weg
(B84 packs zijn eenmalig te gebruiken)
👉 Tijdens deze fase hoef je niet naar je hygrometer te kijken.

💨 Stap 2 – Onderhoud (vochtbalans behouden)
Na het seasonen gebruik je de B72 packs om je sigaren langdurig te beschermen.
Gebruik:
• Verwijder de verpakking van de B72 packs
• Plaats ze:
• Onder de sigarenlade
• Bovenop de sigaren
• Of in een Boveda houder in het deksel
• Leg je sigaren in de humidor
De eerste set kan iets sneller vervangen moeten worden; daarna gaan de packs gemiddeld ±3 maanden mee.
